Our vision is an open, playful and provocative art world with no borders between artists, disciplines and viewers, therefore we are accepting new submissions from individuals, groups of artists or curators for projects for upcoming year 2019.
Our space opened in September 2011 and has adjustable doors, that can be opened widely for 8m and at this stage it breaks the wall boundaries between the inner gallery space and the actual public area of the underpass.

Platform 1-12 is an artists led non-profit civic association that runs a Multimedia Space for Contemporary Culture located in a 300m long public underpass, underneath the Bus and Railway station in a small town Topolcany, Slovakia.

-If you have an idea of an interdisciplinary project and you look for a platform to make your idea happen and/or look for collaborating artists from various disciplines. The aim is to build up a platform and connect people from different disciplines working together, push for greater collaboration, support and encourage interdisciplinary research and dialogue as well as to offer a new experimental zone, where the artists are able to step out of their comfort zone and be a part of a new experience.
-If you love to work on site specific art projects.The space itself is a non-traditional gallery space that offers a great opportunity to approach non gallery viewers / the general public that passes through. It can be used for happenings, site specific installations, drawings, murals,performances, etc.
-If you are artist/ group of artists /curator looking for an art residency providing support for your practise In upcoming year we are again opening a residency program for artists. This is open to any media or forms of arts.
